We’ve got the latest updates on Joann Stores Closing.
Today, February 12th, Joann announced it would be closing 500 of its 800+ stores nationwide. This announcement comes almost a year after filing for bankruptcy.
At the time of filing, they had hoped to keep the majority of their stores open. Joann says higher costs from shipping overseas products, plus decreasing consumer demand, have caused a significant decrease in revenue.
Which Joann store locations will be closing?
Stores will be closing in almost every state and going-out-of-business sales will begin as soon as Saturday, February 15th at some locations. Gift cards are still being accepted for in-store purchases, but not online shopping.
CBS News shared this full list of Joann Fabric Stores Closing.
