And, we even make it at other times throughout the year – it’s an awesome game night snack!
This sweet popcorn will quickly become a favorite – I can guarantee it.
And, after you get done wolfing this delicious popcorn down, my friends over at Cooking Classy also have a delectable Christmas Crunch recipe as well that you’ll have to check out.
Here’s how you get this delicious sweet & salty snack made:
Gather your white chocolate and peanut butter popcorn ingredients:
- 14 cups air popped white popcorn
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 lb. white almond bark
- 3 T peanut butter
Get to making the BEST sweet & salty popcorn ever!
- Lay out a 4 foot by 4 foot area of wax paper
- Spray lightly with cooking spray
- Put popcorn in a large mixing bowl
- Measure and combine Rice Krispies and Peanuts in one large bowl
- ** Doing these steps ahead of time is necessary because you don’t want the melted mixture to dry while you’re measuring ingredients – it comes together quickly
- Melt together: white almond bark and peanut butter in :30 second increments OR on 1 minute increments at 50% power in your microwave, stirring in between with a DRY silicone spatula
- Pour melted peanut butter and chocolate mixture over popcorn
- Add in Rice Krispies and peanuts, stirring continuously.
- Once the white chocolate mixture is covering the popcorn mixture for the most part, you’ll drop this all out onto the sprayed wax paper.
- Make it fairly even, because after it dries, you’ll want to break it up into “bundles” and “pieces to enjoy.
ENJOY! This is our FAVORITE!
The best way to make your popcorn is by using a popcorn air popper. Everyone loves this one!
Pull out the unpopped kernels before mixing in the cereal and peanuts.

1
lb.
white almond bark -
3
T.

Instructions

Lay out a 4 foot by 4 foot area of wax paper area on a table or countertop where you have free space. You’ll use this area to dry the popcorn for atleast an hour, so make sure it is an area that doesn’t need to be used.
-
Pop the popcorn if it’s not popped already in a large bowl.
-
Melt the almond bark and peanut butter together slowly in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30 second increments.
-
Pour the almond bark/peanut butter mixture over popcorn.
-
Add the peanuts and Rice Krispies into the popcorn mixture and continue stirring to get it mixed up really well (for a couple minutes) – but careful not to crush the popcorn 🙂
-
Spread the popcorn on a table or the countertop covered with sprayed (with cooking spray) wax paper to dry.
-
Once the white chocolate has dried, break apart popcorn into half dollar size chunks and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
** This will make a lot more than the popped popcorn, as the white chocolate will dry and make clumps of popcorn
